The start of my weekend journey. This is a peaceful view of the road outside my building at 7:50 on a Saturday morning, a serene start to my day.

Basking in the radiant glow of the ELG building, a familiar sight accompanies my everyday walk to the main building.

The stillness of the main building’s hallway on a weekend. A short walk I take before entering the newsroom. 

Inside the calm before the storm: Weekend mornings in the newsroom look pretty chill. Fewer people are on duty on these days. This is where stories come to life and pulse of journalism resonates. 

This is me prepping for work. A moment of tranquility before the workday rush, as I set up my PC and desk, bracing for the waves of tasks ahead.

Engaging in a Zoom call with cameras off but mics on. Zooming into the weekend AM story conference, where desk editors and TVP  Weekend producers start to craft stories to be featured for the day.

A late breakfast featuring my favorite whole wheat pandesal, green tea, and decadent ensaymadas from one of our desk editors! Sweet, cheesy, and indulgent, the perfect kickoff to a productive day.

Locked in serious mode and plunging into intense transcription and writing sessions.

Diving into the marathon of work! Non-stop moments of productivity.

Double-time work mode! Reviewing ingested materials on Media Central and crafting news stories for dotcom and/or TVPW, where every detail counts in shaping the day's coverage.

The news desks may still appear empty, but behind the scenes, the team behind TVPW starts to arrive, gearing up for the hustle that lies ahead.

Finally done for the day! Clocking out at 5:00 PM, handed over news crew deployment and tracking to my colleague, signed off my domain, and prepared to bid farewell to another day in the newsroom.

Wrap-up time! It's 5:06 PM, and we're officially out for the day, heading off to unwind and recharge for tomorrow's hustle.
