Job Description
In this position, you will join our IT Infrastructure Shared Services Group, where you will l manage the Configuration Manager applications and deployment types to support clients and devices, distribute content to sites and focus on delivering quality Application Packaging solutions with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Aurecon’s IT infrastructure environment
- Providing infrastructure support escalated from Service Desk and directly from stakeholders
- Deploy and manage Applications, Collections via System Center Configuration Manager
- Adhere to incident, Problem, and Change management processes as per Aurecon standards and within SLAs
- Automate installations for deployment via: MSI Repackage, MSI Transforms, Silent Install Vendor exe & scripting
- Oversee user testing with nominated application testers (SOE compatibility, Functional testing, Application deployment via SCCM or Manual install)
- Provide Level 3 support to Level 1 & 2 support teams for SCCM and license related issues
- Setup, manage and maintain network license servers for software and DNS creation (Code meter, Sentinel, etc.)
- Handover pertinent knowledge and support documentation to IT support departments
- Manual Software Install Management (Manapps)
Requirements
Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request. You will also need the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- Understanding of Windows 10 architecture
- Deployment of application packages via SCCM 2012 or later
- Broad knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in scripting in VBScript, PowerShell WMI or WSH
- Familiarity with Admin Studio/Wise Package Studio
- Familiarity with ProcMon, FileMon, RegMon, Orca
- Familiarity with setting up and troubleshooting Network License solutions (Code meter, Sentinel, etc.)
- Sourcing application information required for packaging and deployment
- Experience of carrying out application discovery and analysis to enable correct integration, as well as hands-on sequencing and quality assurance activities which include documenting work carried out.
- Experience of working with a number of areas within the Release Management Lifecycle.
