However this doesn’t happen without some really awesome people. This is why we are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist (Data Analytics) to join our growing team!
What’s on the menu for you to do:
- Work alongside Sales Operations Team Lead and Sales Management to create scalable processes and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to provide visibility into operations performance
- Monitor performance indicators of business, identifying causes/trends and drive data-based decision making through creation of insightful and intuitive reports for users with different technical backgrounds
- Provide analytical support to important initiatives in order to drive decisions and prioritize efforts
- Build queries and analyze data to identify trends, root cause issues, and system and process improvement opportunities
- Coach users on best-practice uses of data and analytics and assist users in finding the right information
- Translate data into creative and engaging data visualization (i.e. charts and trends) to aid in easy interpretation and better understanding of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understand data points to provide insights to Sales Management regarding sales performance and operational improvements.
- Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
What do you bring to the table?
- Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Statistics / Management Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent
- Fluent in English language with very good written and verbal communication skills and can present solutions and to multiple audiences and various levels of stakeholders
- Self-starter, highly resourceful, "hands-on" background with strong problem solving skills with the ability to quickly develop work-arounds and fixes
- Has the ability to work under tight deadlines and understands the importance of relevant real-time data
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and can thrive in a high-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities and comfortable with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
- Can create new information-related documents and processes (e.g. work procedures, forms, memos documented information, and process flow) as the need arises
- Can identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to help leadership team understand where the gaps are, suggest and execute fixes
- Has experience working with senior management teams (Stakeholder management requiring persuasion / influencing skills); relationship building and negotiation skills and practices high level of confidentiality
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides) are required
- Experience in e-commerce is preferred but not required
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is preferred
