In the night shift, career advancement possibilities, such as promotions, tend to be limited or scarce. Contrarily, employees in our APAC local office have a defined "path" for promotion opportunities after demonstrating consistent hard work and dedication over the years.

It's up to your working skills, leadership, responsibility and knowledge.

This helps us so much to be more productive and salary is more competitive.

There are a lot of promising colleagues and it's good to have reliable workmates, but at the same time it's hard to get promoted if the budget is limited.

We have assessment yearly to rate the staff performance during the year and promotion given accordingly

Good career progression if you are performing well

My rating reflects my personal experience with my career progression. As mentioned before, my main role is technical analyst (programmer), but I've been working on quality assurance testing lately, which I think impacts my career path and growth personally as a technical analyst, because instead of focusing more on improving my technical skills, I have to focus on my current work which is QA. But if just talking about promotion, there are alot of opportunities in general.

Promotions are based on several factors. We have a transparent performance review, self-rating and manager-rating where all areas of growth were discussed.

I've been promoted once in 4 years but it's also a small team and there's not much room to move up.

Promotions are done well, it's not too early not too late. But the compensation could have matched the role a little better.

Average promotion time will depend on the performance itself. but sometimes you will be skipped to prioritize other tenured employees.

Be passionate about your job and learn to listen to what your supervisors need from you.

Since I am fairly new to this company I haven't had any promotion opportunity but our managers ensure us that when the time comes, we are ready.

I have not experienced yet any promotion because I am only a year here in the company, but they have shared to me that there are no specific requirements like number of years required before qualifying, etc. They told me that the evaluation is based on your performance.

To be promoted, we have to be in a project. We should finish our tasks and not have many issues. We have to keep on learning and improving in order to be promoted in higher ranks.
