What you will do:

• Management of VMs, creation, modification of resources, and installation of Windows and Linux like OS.
• Deployment of VMWare tools, taking timely snapshots, and its restoration in case of issues.
• Management of ESXi host, design, and architecture, install and setup, clustering, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Setup of VMWare cluster, ensuring a high availability of ESXi host servers.
• Configuration of distributed resource scheduler (DRS) and vMotion to balance ESXi host workloads.
• VM cloning, template creation, and exporting and importing to OVF package.

What you should have:

• Minimum 5 years' solid work experience in an IT Operations environment
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining VMs and ESXi in a clustered environment
• Deep understanding on network concepts and protocols.
• Deep knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, BMS, Zabbix, Solar Winds)
• Deep knowledge in VMWare backup and restoration of critical components and configuration.
