2 years. Endless possibilities.

By the end of it, you’ll know which ones are calling your name. Along the way, you’ll be coached, mentored and advised by some of the best people we have. But in the end, the person making the decisions is you.

We’ll accelerate your journey by helping you develop in three areas:

  • Banking skills: get to grips with our ING Strategy, learn the fundamentals of banking, and gain an understanding of our customers and the environment we operate in.
  • Personal growth: self-awareness, identifying purpose, collaborating effectively, cultural awareness and identifying own leadership skills.
  • Professional development: gaining specific expertise in your chosen track.

The ITP is based on a system of rotations. You’ll start by aligning with your dedicated trainee manager on your interests and development needs. With their support, you’ll choose a relevant rotation within Analytics Track, then dive into your first six-month placement.

You’ll make mistakes along the way. But in return, you’ll learn a lot: not just about us, but about yourself.

After six months, it’s time to choose a second rotation. After another six months, another.

After that, you’ll be ready for your first fixed position, and you’ll go into it knowing that it’s the best possible fit.
