The Occupational Safety and Health Officer supports the organization with compliance to local and international regulations and standards by assisting in the design, planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of Meralco’s overall safety and occupational health programs.
- Assists in the overall management of the OSH Program in coordination with the OSH Committees
- Monitors and inspects any health or safety aspect of the operations with the participation of supervisors and workers
- Assists in organizing and processing all documents related to OSH Programs and government compliance
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
- DOLE accredited OSH Practitioner is a plus
- Previous work experience in OSH is an advantage, with experience in developing and implementing OSH Management Systems
- Knowledgeable in ISO 45001 standard
- Must be proficient in driving four wheeled-manual transmission vehicles
