Salary at Manila Electric Company (Meralco)

It will be more appreciative if there are more monetary incentives (not just the transportation allowance).

I believe it is great!

Initially, I was under the impression that Meralco did not provide any form of allowance for interns. To my pleasant surprise, I discovered that we were entitled to not just one, but two tranches of allowances during our internship. This unexpected financial support added an extra layer of satisfaction to my experience.

Justifiable pay

They gave us transportation allowance for being interns there.

I think the allowance was just the right amount since we were only just interns.

The allowance was okay, though would have a liked if it was higher. However, I do understand that there is a budget to adhere by.

Free dinner by my supervisor.

Nice food, lots of activities among interns.

Having a rare get together to catch up with everyone by simply going out to eat.

When we go outside they always gave free lunches.

From what my supervisors told me, the best perk was the private health insurance.

Break room, free brewed coffee and free use of the refrigerator. There also some celebration within the workplace that we got free food from.
