Your role

  • Provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition Team while developing an understanding of Manulife's products and businesses
  • Responsible for the centralized collection of approved hiring requisitions and posting of positions in Workday
  • Participate in the coordination of New Hire Orientation; reporting and tracking as required
  • Provide support with pre-employment screening checks by actively tracking the process of the checks, billing costs, etc.
  • Be a subject matter expert in Workday as it relates to template management (i.e. offer management)
  • Manage Recruitment Coordination Activities such as Interview Arrangement, Raise/Adjudicate Background Check, Facilitate

About you

  • Graduate of a bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of HR experience preferably in training/administration/recruitment
  • Working knowledge of various policies and practices is a plus 
  • Working knowledge of HR Systems such as Workday, Compass
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities; can work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong sense of urgency and flexibility
  • Willing to work the day shift
