Risk & Compliance Intern null

Your role

As a Risk & Compliance Intern, you will work closely with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer to ensure that the risk management & compliance programs are in place and implemented properly.

You will:

• Help perform the risk management process from risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk monitoring of all the potential risks that might negatively impact the company’s financial position.
• Assist in the rollout and implementation of Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and IT Risk Assessment (ITRA).
• Assist in compliance functions such as compliance advisory, awareness materials, and compliance testing.
• Help provide support and training to employees to create a risk-aware culture.
• Perform research about the latest trends in risk management that can be used in the enhancement of the existing risk management program.

About you

You may be fit if:

• You are taking up Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related courses.
• You have strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual skills and data-savvy.
• You have good communication skills and can speak in front of groups, with the ability to lead meetings and take command of discussions.
• You possess the ability to work and establish working relationships with different teams.
• You are well-versed in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), knowledge of using statistical software is an advantage.
• You can prioritize assignments and effectively handle multiple tasks and activities daily.
