The Trading Order Clerk (Processor) is responsible in the processing of treasury peso transactions and preparation of various regulatory and internal reports of the Unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Processes treasury domestic transactions such as Promissory Notes, Repurchase Agreements and Government Securities.
- Implements settlement of maturity proceeds of Promissory Notes or Repurchase Agreements through credit to T24.
- Confirms with counterparties for inter-bank lending/borrowing transactions.
- Ensures completeness of documents submitted by clients for Promissory Notes, Repurchase Agreements and Government Securities.
- Encodes fund transfer and inter-bank lending/borrowing in BSP PhilPass Plus.
- Responds IOA tickets originating from the branches or other Units of the Bank affecting the transactions of the Unit.
- Prepares and reviews correctness of documentary stamp taxes on Promissory Notes, and remits the DST to Finance.
- Acts as Investigator in AMLA Base60.
- Encodes mark to market rates for fixed income securities in OPICS FUSION.
- Receives and timestamps all documents received for Treasury Operations Domestic Unit.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Preferably, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Experience: Preferably has experience in treasury operations or related functions
- Willing to work onsite - PBCOM Tower, Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
