A Content Creator is like a Social Media Specialist (graphic design and video editing skills required). The job is to plan, produce and create content to be published on Instagram and other social media pages of Inquirer. The Content Creator will have an experience using social platforms and an interest in what drives people to share content, an understanding and passion for developing visual content that resonates with audiences and has knowledge of what’s happening in the world of social media, content, advertising, and the latest technology/platforms. You will contribute high-quality visual content across a variety of topics and formats.
Job Requirements:
- College graduate preferably Multimedia Arts or Mass Communication
- Preferably more than a year of visual content experience
- Experience with creating and editing video content/gifs for social
- Experience using Instagram and emerging social platforms—creating engaging content across different formats and verticals
- Proficient in Adobe creative suite and/or similar
- Knowledge in publishing content on Instagram and emerging social platforms
- Can write short copy and/or work independently based on available stories
- Knowledge in the use of social media tools is a plus
- Active curiosity and can keep up with the demands of ever-changing media and products (Instagram content, video, gifs, infographics, art cards)
- Can work efficiently while keeping cool under pressure
