Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

Your role & responsibilities

You will be assisting in preparing training materials and searching for appropriate training for all existing and new Planate employees. 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Look for service providers, and check provider training schedules, course offerings, learning modes, training costs, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials e.g., videos, exams, handouts, and upload them to internal file-sharing sites.
  • Coordinate with service providers for logistical and administrative requirements i.e., food, venue, and accommodation.
  • Monitor and maintain/update employee records i.e., certificates, credentials, and licenses.
  • Answer basic correspondence, inquiries, and training-related requests.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

As an Intern, you will gain valuable on-the-job experience, solve business challenges, develop innovative solutions, and learn from inspiring leaders. Local and overseas training is also provided to ensure that you are provided with the tools to develop professionally and stay at the leading edge of available qualifications. Training is provided to enhance the technical skills of each team member. Internal movements are encouraged for additional knowledge and exposure to other fields of interest.

About you

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in BSBA Major in Human Resource Management, BS Psychology, or any relevant degree.
  • They also accept fresh graduates.
  • Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be creative and resourceful.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
