Introduction

Schneider Electric (SE) is looking for a Schneider Graduate Program (SGP) Associate –Analytics to make a difference and be part of their digital transformation

The data analyst will fulfill standard data requests including data validation, data quality reporting, data cleanup, and facilitating data process improvements. The analyst may also build and/or maintain dashboards & data visualizations in support of business needs.

Program overview

The Schneider Graduate Program (SGP) is designed to help you grow faster at the Early Career stage. During the 36 months with the company, you may go through a Structured Rotational track or Specialized track, under different functions. It will allow you to learn different businesses or functions within Schneider Electric, through a series of accelerated induction and programs. Get ready to handle important projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work with stakeholders globally.

Roles and Responsibilities

Schneider Electric is looking for a results-oriented Data Analyst to own, define, build, and maintain dashboards that will measure the success and drive the day-to-day behavior of the business. In this role, you will work with Scrum Masters, ETL developers, Tableau developers, and others. Your role requires:

  • Solving key business problems through using an appropriate mix of strategic thinking and computational methods using Tableau and/or Python and other statistical tools
  • Build and maintain dashboards from scratch as well as repair / enhance existing ones
  • Assist in data validation/data quality checks and work through the resolution of any issues found
  • Provide actionable insights to inform decisions and strategies through visualizations (enable cross-function/geographical visibility for business metrics across multiple business lines, show trends, correlation, etc.)
  • Develop and uphold best practices to change management, documentation, and data protocols
  • Perform and drive internal analytics to continuously refine how we operate.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Economics or other related technical field
  • Basic level knowledge in SQL and Python (good to have).
  • Basic – intermediate proficiency in BI Platforms (Tableau and others) and Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc).
  • Consciously adopts best practices and applies performance tuning
  • Strong problem solver, able to investigate and resolve issues independently
  • Analytical and independent problem solver. Meticulous with high attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with the ability to talk through data/technical details and business/layperson details
