Job Summary

The SPO Performance Analyst role offers an excellent opportunity to impact Lubricants for the Americas, driving operational efficiencies across the Supply Planning Optimization team. This role will focus on analytics to help improve our customer experience and optimize within the supply chain by driving improvements OTIF (on-time in-full) performance, demand forecasting, production capacity and inventory management to help deliver the plan made with Sales to the E2E planning team. This role will engage with the demand planning team and supply planning optimization team to ensure that key processes are operating efficiently. This includes maintaining Power BI dashboards, generating reports to track performance vs plan and responding to critical sourcing questions in a time-efficient manner. Successful candidate(s) will have an analytics mindset and be passionate about identifying improvement opportunities and supporting data needs of both the Lubricants Supply Chain and boarder Lubricants Americas organization.

Responsibilities

The primary focus of the role is to support all team leads in the Supply Planning Optimization team by ensuring that key processes and reports are operating efficiently.  This role will focus on driving improvement in the following areas:

  • Managing immediate product sourcing request mailbox
  • Weekly/Monthly recurring reports on OTIF, forecasting, and other supply chain KPIs
  • Updating of Power BI Dashboards and developing new tools for optimization
  • Costing for new products
  • Ad-hoc request to support critical business needs
  • Other data analytics support to broader community.

Dimension

  • The SPO Analyst will be 1 of 2 matching positions in a team of 30+ people based between Houston and the SBO
  • This role will be based in Manila and the line manager will be located in Houston 
  • Will need to keep customer focus as a priority understanding how the daily activities of the role drive improvement across the broader team
  • Interaction with other Lubricants Supply Chain teams to coordinate and deliver value saving opportunities  

Requirements

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner with incomplete and changing information 
  • Customer/commercial focused 
  • Demonstrate proactive thinking to work to improve/adjust the supply chain prior to any disruption 
  • Existing technical skills or interest to grow expertise in following systems: SAP APO/GSAP, DDMRP, PowerBI, Alteryx and Microsoft Excel 
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related 3-5 years of related service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to dive deep into data to identify issues, patterns and solve problems

  • Advanced computer skills: Excel, GSAP (APO & BW experience is a plus)
