Your role

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Purchasing Engineer to join the Purchasing Department based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines. The Purchasing Engineer is responsible for overall supplier development. Using your strong technical skills, you conduct research, analyze data, and come up with innovative ideas that improve processes and products.

Here are the role and responsibilities:

• Tooling monitoring
• Process audit
• Communication with designers
• Conducts supplier visit and audit
• Does new supplier evaluation
• Supplier compliance management

About you

Successful candidates must have below qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
• Exposure and proficiency in AutoCAD are an advantage.
• Must have strong communication skills
• Having technical drawing knowledge is preferred.
• Highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willing to work on extended hours.
• You maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjust to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
• toward the completion of goals.
• You are proactive; taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
• You effectively manage your time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
• Must be willing to work in Santa Rosa Laguna.

The skills required are:

• Excellent AutoCad skills is an advantage
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail oriented.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse range of personalities and groups.

• Position is open to Associate level applicants.
