Responsible for the overall equipment maintenance program and provides support to production by establishing an efficient plant operation.
Responsibilities:
- Orients maintenance personnel on the nature of the job, safety, code of conduct, company and quality objectives.
- Performs corrective and preventive maintenance to all machines and equipment.
- Maintains the minimum level of consumables and spare parts stored in the stockroom and request materials as deemed necessary.
- Maintain list and ensure availability of spare parts for critical parts of production equipment.
- Conducts monthly inventory of all tools and parts in the stock room.
- Keeps maintenance and asset records and government clearances.
- Performs regular preventive maintenance to all forklift and hand pallet trucks.
