Your role
Onsemi is looking for engineering graduates who would like to start their career as part of their New College Graduate (NCG) Program for 2024.
The Package Development role will have the following responsibilities:
- In charge of the current DFM and assembly capability for the Factory.
- Performing DFM checks for new incoming New Package/Products to ensure new packages are manufactured in Mass Production Mode.
- Collaborating with upper management for Business overrides/waivers for New Package/Products that fail DFM check.
- Coordinating with Process Engineering, Wafer Fab people, Package Development Engineers, and Business Units for the upgrading/updating of the Assembly DFM Rules and solutions for Non-DFM Conformance to gain business of New Product/Package Introduction to the Factory.
- Main contact person for the Business Units for the definition of customer requirements, specifications, applications, and qualification procedures for the new assembly technology and/or process/material changes for the specific semiconductor packages portfolio in the factory.
About you
To qualify for the role, you must be/have:
- BS/MS Degree in Engineering such as, BS Physics, BS Chemistry, BS ECE, BS Electronics Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering
- Graduated within the last 24 months
- No formal work experience within the last 24 months
