Pag-asa Steel Works has been producing the finest quality steel bars since 1964. They are the leading Philippine manufacturer and supplier of quality steel products, known for their safety and reliability, and a vital contributor to national development. The company set up the first automatic rolling mill and pioneered the production of PNS Gr 415 (now PNS Gr 420) / ASTM Gr 60 high-strength steel in the Philippines, which was a cornerstone in the country's leap to high-rise buildings and skyscrapers. They are the only mill in the country today that has been pre-qualified by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Their concrete reinforcement bars can be found in a wide range of construction projects, including high-rises, luxury condominiums, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, bridges, highway overpasses, dams, and other public infrastructure.   2. Be sure to indicate your desired position in the subject line of your email or the envelope containing your application materials.

  3. If you are interested in applying for a position that is not currently listed, but see yourself as a strong fit for the company, please declare your field of expertise in the subject of your email and in your cover letter.

  4. Applicants who pass the initial screening will be asked to take our on-site written assessment and meet our team during face-to-face interviews. You may find directions to our office here.

  5. Some applicants may be interviewed on the phone prior to being invited to our office. Additional reference checks and assessments may also be required as part of the process.

  6. Candidates who receive offers will be asked to submit additional requirements prior to being officially hired. These requirements include:

OJT Program

Opportunities are available all year-round for promising students looking for on-the-job training or apprenticeships.

We provide a professional learning environment for students to complement their classroom experiences. Interns will be assigned mentors and asked to complete at least one comprehensive research study or improvement project as part of their program.

Interns who excel may be shortlisted for full-time positions and extended job offers upon graduation.

Full-time Hires

Graduating students are also welcome to apply for our full-time entry-level positions, including Cadet Engineers or Management Trainees under our leadership development program.

This program allows fresh graduates to explore a variety of roles in our core operations, rotating through at least four of the following functions:

  • Maintenance
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Marketing & Sales
  • Information Technology
  • Human Resources
  • Finance

Cadet Engineers and Management Trainees who complete the rotation program may then progress to one of two career paths within the company, the technical or supervisory track.
